Bioecological Theory and Globalization

I would see myself as someone who is still in search of who he truly is. The person above is focused and in search in his computer as this symbolizes my own search in understanding everything and the different factors that affect myself. From last week’s lectures, I’ve learned that there are various hierarchical systems of oneself based from the bioecological systems of Urie Bronfenbrenner. There are different factors which affect and make each system as it is for it is truly something to indulge and understand to truly know oneself. I’ve come to realize as well that we are all social beings, we can not survive alone since we humans are meant to communicate with others in order for us to live fully. I also must analyze and involve myself more with my environment and the outside world. Everything continues to adjust and develop through Globalization, and in order for me to better myself, I must look into the several factors that consider to this topic.
Peak-End Rule

Here is a picture of how I see my remembering and experiencing self. On the left side of the picture, there is the high school while on the right side, there is the college or university. Personally I remember several ups and downs throughout my entire high school life and this is what makes it all significant. Currently, I’m already in college and this is where I’m still continuously seeking for my inner self by my current experiences.
The Feeling and Mindful Self

With regards to the feeling self, my chosen picture shows how the display rule plays a significant role toward myself. I sometimes tend to mask my basic emotions such as sadness with joy based on how I must respond from the given situation. While for the mindful self, emotion regulation is seen through how I specifically manage my emotions based on the given social context.
